Great Expectations Dating
When you are dating someone for the first time, it is best not to have great expectations. If you go into something expecting gold and get silver, then you will be disappointed. When you think about great expectations, dating should be the furthest thing from your mind. People are complex creatures and if you set your expectations too high, the other person will not have a chance of impressing you.
If you are trying to find love online, the same rule applies. If you are expecting something specific as you read through somebodys profile, then that is what your brain will automatically see. Remember that people do not usually share their flaws in their online profiles, so you might have to be disappointed if you are expecting them not to have any flaws.
