Love Poems Made Easy

Romantic LoveYeah, I know, there’s lots of places online that let you print love poems, and there are even a few websites that will “generate” a love poem for you. So, instead of giving into temptation, just try expressing your true feelings first.

Love poems are a wonderfully romantic gesture and can often express your own thoughts far more eloquently that you could in conversation.

Why not take a few quiet moments and try your hand at writing a poem for your lover or(wish list love)? Even if it won’t win you a literary prize, the person you present it to will most likely treasure it as if it were written by one of the great romantic poets of the nineteenth century. It’s another example of people appreciating a personalized gift far more than one that’s purchased. What they’re really appreciating is the time and effort invested on their behalf.

Writing a love poem is a very good method of expressing your love. Infact, it comes across as very sweet as well as very thoughtful. It is also one of the best gifts that you can give to the one you love. In case you want to know how to write a love poem just remember you are not writing love poems for some contest or to get printed in the newspaper or magazines. Do not worrying about how good it is at all. It is a gift for your beloved and only your feelings and emotions matter.

OK now, spend some time alone and think why you love him/her, what is that attracts you to him/her, what you feel when he/she is not around. Gather all these thoughts and try to convert them into a poem.
You do not have to be a Grammy winning song writer and “busta rhyme” at every line.

Your words in the poem should convey your feelings in an uncomplicated manner. There is no need to use very complex vocabulary.

After the poem gets completed, you can fine tune it by reading it aloud to yourself. See whether it really conveys what you want to say. If there is some flaw, don’t lose heart. Write again and continue with the procedure until the poem feels just right to you.
Remember there is no need to copy a poem from some other source. Be original my friend, that adds value instantly.

Keep in mind, that the issue is not how good a poem is, but how much emotion it evokes in your partner.  Try powerful moments, that you really felt passion. What about the the evening you two walked together, or the time you two got caught in the rain, clutching his/her hand on the roller coaster, reading each others thoughts. If you give it a moment of reflection you will realize there is a love poem inside of you at all times waiting to be released.
